Ballad of Buster Scruggs, Coen Brothers
Interesting form – 6 short stories to give you an atmosphere of the West in the post Civil War Era. It could be fun to make a story like that, where the characters from all these 6 stories somehow appear in each others stories, as a major character or just a side character. Overall, the stories were bitter and that made me a little bored but one fact that kept me looking was the incredible use of lights and cinematography of the scenes. I heard that many people disliked the last story, to me it was very interesting and the one that made me want to watch more. The minute the old man closes the door behind him is already a twist in the first half of the story and that makes me really excited to see more. Also loved that how the last line of the book page is a last line to the story.
